Robinson Holloway

CEO ARTS 14C

Robinson Holloway is the Founder and CEO of ARTS 14C.

She created Art Fair 14C as an initiative of the Jersey City Arts Council in 2018

while serving as founding Chair of the Jersey City Arts Council Board of Directors.

Holloway serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the London-based global organization Association of Women Art Dealers. She is also involved in her community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce as well as co-chair of the HudsonGives Steering Committee.Headline Additionally, Holloway serves as the VP for Communications for the Village Neighborhood Association.

Her focus on the arts came after a long career in sports journalism, focusing on PGA Tour coverage for Sports Illustrated, ABC Sports, ESPN and Golf Channel. She continues to work in television one day a year, writing the script for ABC’s coverage of the Rose Parade.

Sophie Couche

Deputy Director ARTS 14C

Sophie Couche is a program and artist manager with over a decade of experience shaping the global arts and culture landscape. She brings an international perspective and a passion for cross-cultural collaboration. From international art shows in Paris and Sydney to cult-classic food institutions in NYC, she’s developed a diverse network of artists, curators, and cultural leaders to bring creative visions to life.

Passionate about supporting community and fostering inclusion, she is actively involved in the Jersey City arts scene, helping establish the city as a vibrant destination for local and international artists to thrive.

Her global expertise is grounded in immersive experiences. Through the George Mason University Center for World Religions, Diplomacy & Conflict Resolution, her studies have taken her to France and the Middle East, expanding her understanding of global dialogue. She also holds a BA in Middle Eastern Arts and French from Monash University, Australia.

Diana Burroughs

Executive Director Project 14C

Burroughs has worked a number of years in the art world, where she was president of Jason McCoy Inc., a contemporary art gallery. In the mid-90s she left the art world and became involved in education, first as co-founder and executive director of PENCIL, then as Manhattan Deputy to the Chancellor of the Board of Education, and finally as the co-founder and executive director of TeachersCount. She returned to the art world to work with the Robert Miller Gallery, and Marlborough Gallery.

Combining her art world experience with the non-profit world, she joined Project 14C as its founding executive director in 2024.

Burroughs holds a degree in history from the University of Wisconsin, as well as her MA and Ph.D. in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton.

Gretchen Von Koenig

Deputy Director ARTS 14C

Previously, Koenig was a curator & grant writer for the Apple Tree House in the Office of Cultural Affairs of Jersey City and has worked as a design writer & editor for Metropolis Magazine, Cooper Hewitt, and Plot(s) Journal of Design Studies.

She has presented original scholarship and chaired sessions at the annual conferences of Design History Society, College Arts Association, and The National Conference on the Beginning Design Student, and been featured in the NYTimes.

Von Koenig is currently a Ph.D. student in Design History. She holds her MA in History of Design and Curatorial Studies from the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.

Celesté Marchbanks

Operations Director

Celesté Marchbanks joined ARTS 14C in December 2024 as part-time Operations Director. In addition, they are an Adjunct Professor at Duquesne University School of Business Administration teaching strategy and marketing classes & is the founder of their marketing agency, Biz Hero.

In the past Marchbanks has served as the Director of Business Operations for an online business coaching company, Senior Consultant for Walker Learning Group, and as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for BreakIT (Breaking Institutional Trauma).

Marchbanks holds BA in International Business - Asia from Bethany College, WV as well as an MBA & Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Duquesne University.

Sittra Omer

Director of Development

Sittra Omer joined ARTS 14C in 2025 as the Director of Development. With a deep passion for nonprofit fundraising, she is dedicated to helping organizations cultivate meaningful relationships with supporters & secure the resources needed to grow & thrive. Sittra’s career spans a wide range of nonprofits, including Hip Hop Public Health, Friends of WHEELS, the Center for Reproductive Rights, Arts Unbound & more.

She has developed successful, donor-focused strategies to engage communities, raise vital funds, & support the unique mission of each organization. Omer is driven by a passion for helping nonprofits reach their full potential, bringing people together to create impact, & fostering a culture of engagement that supports long-term success.

As a New Jersey native, Sittra is passionate about supporting Jersey City’s arts scene & ensuring equal opportunities & access for all artists, particularly those whose stories might otherwise be overlooked. She believes the arts are an incredibly powerful tool for equity, as they amplify voices from diverse communities, preserve stories that reflect the richness of the area’s cultural landscape, & foster understanding across differences.

Emily Yourman

Communications Manager

Emily Yourman joined ARTS 14C in January 2025. She graduated from Kenyon College in 2024, Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude with a BA in English and Spanish. She trained in journalism at the School at the New York Times with honors and worked as an editorial associate at the Kenyon Review.
