About ARTS 14C

ARTS 14C was founded on a simple belief: when artists thrive, communities thrive.

Founder Robinson Holloway created ARTS 14C to address some of the biggest challenges facing artists today — access to space, visibility, professional opportunities, and sustainable career pathways. At the same time, she believed that communities deserve more opportunities to engage with art, meet artists, and experience creativity as part of everyday life.

What began in 2018 with the launch of Art Fair 14C has evolved into a dynamic nonprofit arts organization and cultural incubator based in Jersey City’s Powerhouse Arts District. Today, ARTS 14C supports artists through residencies, exhibitions, public programs, professional development initiatives, and collaborative partnerships that foster artistic growth and cultural exchange.

Headquartered in a 125,000-square-foot creative campus, ARTS 14C is home to a diverse community of artists, writers, performers, makers, and cultural organizations. The organization serves as both a launchpad for artistic careers and a welcoming destination where audiences can discover, experience, and participate in the arts.

Rooted in New Jersey and connected to a global network of artists and cultural leaders, ARTS 14C is building something larger than a series of programs. We are creating a sustainable creative ecosystem — one that expands opportunities for artists, broadens public access to the arts, and strengthens the cultural fabric of the communities we serve.
