The Art of the Game

A public art program presented by ARTS 14C in partnership with the New York New Jersey 2026 World Cup Host Committee.
Created for FIFA World Cup 2026™, The Art of the Game transforms the world’s most recognized symbol of sport into a series of monumental public sculptures by twenty-three internationally recognized artists.
The reimagined six-foot soccer ball sculptures are installed across New York City and New Jersey, inviting residents and visitors to experience contemporary art in public spaces throughout the summer of 2026.

Inquire about the Sculptures
A selection of five sculptures from The Art of the Game is currently being offered through an online auction hosted by Christie’s, open through July 19, 2026.
For auction details, please visit the Christie’s website.
All Art of the Game sculptures will be on public view through September 7, 2026. At the conclusion of the exhibition, ARTS 14C plans to extend the project’s legacy through municipal placements and public art donations, with select sculptures also available for private purchase.
