Wyatt Kahn (b. 1983, New York City) is a New York-based artist whose work occupies the space between painting and sculpture. Assembling complex wall-mounted works in which the gaps between individual canvases generate abstract or pictorial compositions, he turns lines and shapes into physical components rather than painted illusions. Working in the tradition of minimalist abstraction, his multipart works draw on geometric forms constructed from canvas stretched over wood, mounted as reliefs that make the wall itself part of the composition.

His work is held in major collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Centre Pompidou, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles.
